From 2008 until earlier in 2010 he served as CFO of PetroSaudi International, a private company with Saudi Royal Family backing. From 2006 to 2008 he was CFO of African Arabian Petroleum Ltd, a company with exploration and production assets in North and West Africa. Previous to this he held senior financial positions at Yukos Oil Company and energy investment banking roles at Citigroup, UBS, Chase Manhattan and Schroders. Mr. Blewden holds a BA (Honours) and MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, England."

A highly respected international oil and gas analyst with over 28 years of capital markets experience and seven years of integrated oil corporate experience with Imperial Oil Limited and Gulf Canada.

Ms. Barker has held senior roles with a number of investment banking firms including Gordon Capital where she was a Director. Since 1996, she has focused on international oil and gas research and currently is President of Barker Oil Strategies Inc. She has extensive voluntary board experience including former Director of the US National Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts and former President of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts.

Ms. Barker holds an Honours B.Sc. (Chemistry) from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.

Twenty two years international business development and commercial experience most recently as Director and Head of the Commercial and Negotiations team for Marathon Oil. In addition to 10 years with Marathon, he has been in business development roles with Enterprise Oil, Premier Oil, GE Power Systems and Rolls-Royce Power Ventures. While at Marathon he also served as Managing Director for their Equatorial Guinea LNG joint venture.

He holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc Honours Civil Engineering from Leeds University. He is a chartered engineer having also spent six years with engineering consultancy Arup. He serves on the Board of AIPN currently as VP Model Contracts.

Manager, Corporate and Investor Relations

Prior to joining Sterling in mid-2008 George was Manager, Investor Relations at PrimeWest Energy, a position he had held since 2001. Concurrent to much of his tenure with PrimeWest, he served as President/Chair of the Canadian Association of Income Funds (CAIF) from 2004 to 2008.  Prior to this he held senior roles in corporate finance and investor relations with TransCanada Pipelines and Petro-Canada respectively. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds both an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.

Graeme has over 15 years Finance and Accounting experience varying from start up companies to investment houses to Multi Nationals, both in the UK and abroad, combining strong technical accounting skills with commercial acumen.

Prior to joining Sterling Graeme’s principal oil and gas experience was with Addax Petroleum, Talisman Energy and Accenture.

Graeme holds the ACCA qualification and an MA (Joint Hons) in History/Politics from the University of Aberdeen.
